Pastor
Pastor David Teasdale, Pastor
In August of 2017, Faith Baptist Church called David Teasdale as full time pastor.
He is a lifetime resident of Waukesha, meaning he can easily navigate the downtown Waukesha streets without a map and without getting lost.
Growing up in a pastor’s home, Dave’s life has always revolved around the ministry of the local church. He followed the Lord’s leading toward Christian ministry during his days in Christian school and summer camp. Following the completion of his college and graduate programs in Biblical Studies in 2000, Dave began serving at the Waukesha Christian Academy as a HS Bible and English teacher. In 2005, he transitioned to the elementary level, teaching 5th and 6th grades. He enjoys teaching any age group, especially truths from God’s Word that have the power to change lives.
“The apostle Paul very concisely describes the prayer of every pastor’s heart for the people he serves in Philippians 1:9-11 – ‘And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment (discernment); That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.’ I desire that for all of us who are part of the Faith Baptist Church.
Some people fail to realize that the value of a church service is up to each individual. My role is to effectively communicate the truth of God’s Word to those that assemble. I do this most often in an expositional (verse-by-verse) style. We all need to know what the Bible means, and we all need to apply it to our daily habits and decision-making. As we listen to what God tells us through the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit personally guides us to implement that truth in our thinking and actions.” (Pastor David Teasdale)
